The Environmental Engineering program supports potentially transformative fundamental research that applies scientific and engineering principles to prevent, minimize, or re-use pollution, mitigate ecological and human-health impacts, and remediate polluted environments. The program focuses on interdisciplinary research that applies chemical, biological, and physical scientific principles to protect human and ecological health.
