The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) is seeking a contractor to repair existing blast doors at building 1440, NAF Misawa, Japan. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and engineering necessary to complete the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible quoter. The estimated cost range is between JPY10,000,000 to JPY25,000,000. • The contractor must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan. • The contractor must have a Japanese bank account to receive payment via DFAS Japan. • The contractor must provide verification of the required license to perform construction work in Japan (Kensetsugyo Kyokasyo) prior to award of the contract. • The contractor must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award.
