The Chesapeake Public Schools is seeking a vendor to provide special education staffing services. The successful vendor will demonstrate the ability to provide qualified special education staffing services to the District. The contract term will commence upon award and expires May 30, 2027, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide a complete response to this RFP, including a scope of services, company background, experience and qualifications, cost proposal, and references. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing special education staffing services to the District • Demonstrating the ability to provide qualified special education staffing services • Complying with the provisions of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Virginia Fair Employment Contracting Act of 1975 • Providing a complete response to the RFP, including all required information and documentation • Participating in the selection process, which may include interviews and negotiations • Entering into a contractual relationship with the District, which will include terms and conditions, payment provisions, and termination clauses.
