The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide a metal injection mold and funnel caps for the National Logistics Support Center in Grandview, MO. The contractor will be required to produce one injection mold and 300 funnel caps, with the option to provide additional funnel caps over four supply option years. The contractor must ensure that the funnel caps meet the specifications outlined in the document "D040-MP1-DR001". The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, tools, facilities, materials, shipping, travel, and technical or administrative support to procure the required materials and construct the plastic injection mold and production units. Key requirements include: • Providing an injection mold capable of producing the NWS Funnel Cap according to the drawing "D040-MP1-DR001" • Producing three first articles of the completed Funnel Cap before full production of the SRG funnels • Furnishing all labor, tools, facilities, material, shipping, travel, and any other technical or administrative support necessary to procure the required materials and construct the plastic injection mold and production units • Providing a warranty against defects in the Injection Mold for the duration of the purchase order • Performing a visual examination of the Funnel Cap preproduction samples and providing written certification stating that all Funnel Caps have been visually examined and comply with the specifications document and document D040-MP1-DR001
