Description:
The Natomas Unified School District is seeking qualified and experienced community-based organizations, educational agencies, and service providers to submit proposals to serve as Summer School Core Service Providers for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 6th grade students funded by the Expanded Learning Opportunities Learning Program (ELO-P). The selected providers will design and deliver full-day, high-quality summer programming that strengthens academic achievement, prevents summer learning loss, and provides meaningful enrichment opportunities. The program will operate for a minimum of 30 non-school days, offering students nine (9) hours of structured, engaging programming daily. The key components of the program include academic support, enrichment opportunities, youth development, and family engagement. • The program must be safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate. • The program must be staffed by qualified, trained professionals with a commitment to cultural responsiveness, positive youth development, and strong partnerships with school site staff. • The program must provide opportunities for families to participate in or engage with summer programming. • The program must track and report student attendance, participation, and progress to NUSD as required.
