The City of Peachtree City is soliciting bids from qualified firms for the removal of dead, dangerous, and/or diseased trees and the trimming of branches as requested by the City. All trees are located on City-owned properties, rights-of-way, and greenbelts within the City of Peachtree City. The City expects to enter into a contract for services for fiscal year 2026, with the option of extending the contract for three additional fiscal years. Key aspects of the job include: • Total tree removal, including cutting down the specified tree, de-limbing, chopping/chipping, hauling all residue off the premises, and blowing off/cleaning of the premises • Stump grinding may be required on a case-by-case basis • The contractor must supply the City with an Insurance Certificate showing that they carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of liability insurance • The contractor must have a climber with a minimum of three consecutive years of experience and certified flagging staff for directing traffic • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency calls within one hour and maintain a point of contact for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
