The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids for the procurement of one emergency generator, one automatic transfer switch, and one docking station. The equipment should be delivered to the Telford Unit, and the contractor will be responsible for removing the existing equipment and installing the new one. The contractor will also provide start-up and training. The delivery may be a factor in the award, and the vendor shall provide an adequate plan of insurance to protect the Texas Department of Criminal Justice against all claims arising from the service performed by the vendor. • The emergency generator should be 150 KW, 480/277VAC, 3 PH, 60HZ, WYE 4-WIRE, with a weatherproof housing. • The automatic transfer switch should be 400A, 480/277VAC, 3PH, 4-WIRE, NEMA 1. • The docking station should be 400A, 480/277VAC, NEMA 3R. • The contractor shall provide one set of manuals, which shall consist of industry-standard installation, operation, and maintenance manuals, including a detailed electrical schematics manual and a detailed parts manual.
