The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide annual scale calibration services for six scales located at Beale Air Force Base in California. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning, testing, and calibrating the scales to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) commercial standards. The contractor will also be required to provide a comprehensive report detailing the services performed, recommended repairs, and any issues encountered during the calibration process. • The scales are used to verify weights of vehicles and cargo, and must be calibrated annually to comply with Department of Transportation and MIL-AIR weight limitations. • The contractor will be required to coordinate with the 9th Mission Support Group, Logistics Readiness Squadron (9 MSG/LRS) Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure escort availability and base entry requirements are met. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary certified personnel, tools, and equipment to perform the calibration services. • The contractor will be required to furnish all travel costs and fringe benefits for their personnel.
