The City of Pueblo is seeking a qualified contractor to provide collection containers, transportation, and recycling or disposal services for household hazardous waste (HHW) at the Pueblo RecycleWorks facility. The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with containers, transportation, and disposal of hazardous wastes, including administration, personnel, supervision, management, labor, programs, consumable materials, shipping, handling, delivery, travel, insurance, profit, and equipment. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and provide a written health and safety plan for emergency response and spill containment. • The contractor must have experience in handling hazardous waste and provide documentation of their company's active SAM.gov registration with no exclusions. • The contractor must provide a list of all items that can be legally handled for recycling or disposal and details regarding their team members who will perform the work. • The contractor must provide copies of transportation documents, such as uniform hazardous waste manifests, and summary reports every 90 days. • The contractor must have adequate equipment, supplies, and staffing to accomplish HHW pickup, storage, and treatment. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
