The U.S. Department of State requires certified, experienced contractor support to provide emergency response services, including on-site Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances and fire suppression equipment, at the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) in Virginia. The contractor shall provide services, management, and equipment to meet or exceed the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement. The anticipated period of performance is one base year and four one-year options. Key responsibilities include: • Providing on-site ALS ambulances, equipment, and certified personnel • Maintaining Commonwealth of Virginia certification as an ALS ambulance service • Providing on-site fire suppression equipment and personnel trained in its operations and maintenance • Responding on-site within six minutes of being notified of any incident • Garaging, maintaining, and calibrating all vehicles and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and licensing agency standards.
