SUNY UPSTATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (“UPSTATE”) intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a), which is up to $125,000, for a vendor to provide a medical transportation software platform to allow scheduling and monitoring of the delivery of non-emergency medical transportation services. A sealed bid will not be held. Software Platform Requirements: · Vendor platform will support one health system with multiple locations from which transport can originate and multiple insurance payors, including the Medicare and Medicaid products. · Vendor platform must include the ability to schedule the following vehicle types: Rideshare (including Lyft and Uber), Medical Taxi, Medical sedan, Wheelchair transport, Stretcher transport and BLS (Basic Life Support) transport. · Vendor platform must integrate with Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Vendor Requirements: · The vendor must have over three (3) continuous years’ experience providing the services noted above. · Vendor must have privacy policies in place with respect to patient information. · Vendor must submit an implementation plan, including a timeline for implementation, onsite versus offsite work, all training needed and travel requirements. · Vendor must be able to provide Customer Service Support 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. · Must be able to do business in New York State. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law (“SFL”) §§139j&k, also known as the Lobbying Law, therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual(s) listed below.
