The State of Michigan, Department of Corrections, is seeking a contractor to provide fabrics, clear vinyl, bed, and bath linens for Michigan State Industries. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The contractor will be required to deliver the products within 30 calendar days of receipt of the order, and must submit a monthly order and delivery report to the State. The contractor must also complete MDOC-required training prior to entering MDOC facilities and/or working on any contract deliverables. • The products to be provided include rib knit fabric, flat knit fabric, thermal fabric, terry washcloths, wool material, black supplex nylon, athletic mesh, clear vinyl, twill, broadcloth, bath towels, and pillowcases. • The contractor must provide a pricing schedule for the proposed contract activities, including all costs, such as one-time or set-up charges, fees, and potential costs. • The contractor must also disclose if it intends to utilize subcontractors, manufacturers, and/or major suppliers in the performance of this contract. • The State reserves the right to add additional items and fabric types at its discretion.
