The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking proposals for Armed Security Guard Services for Region 3. The contractor will provide armed security guards to protect HHSC facilities, employees, and visitors. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and HHSC policies, including the standards of conduct set forth in the HHS Ethics Policy. The contractor must also submit a Form 1295, Certificate of Interested Parties, to the Texas Ethics Commission prior to contract award. • The contractor must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing armed security guard services. • The contractor must have a valid Texas Private Security Bureau license. • The contractor must have liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence. • The contractor must have workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and HHSC policies.
