The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is seeking bids for the construction of a pour-in-place concrete slab at the Giddings Seed Lab, located at 1010 County Road 226, Giddings, Texas 78942. The slab will be approximately 60 feet long, 40 feet wide, and 6 inches thick. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, concrete placement and finishing, curing, and quality assurance. The project is expected to be completed within a short timeframe, and the contractor must ensure that all work is done in compliance with TDA's specifications and requirements. * The concrete slab must be constructed in accordance with ACI 301, ACI 318, or ASTM and applicable local and state codes. * The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and testing required for slab construction. * The contractor must ensure that all work is done in a safe and professional manner. * The contractor must provide a minimum 1-year warranty on rendered services. * The contractor must remove all construction debris and restore the surrounding site to its original condition.
