The Ocean Springs School District is seeking proposals for school-based teacher of the visually impaired services and orientation and mobility services. The selected provider will be responsible for providing direct and indirect services to students with disabilities, including evaluations, therapy, and consultations. The provider must be licensed in the state of Mississippi and have experience working with students with visual impairments. The contract will be for the 2026-2027 school year, with the option to renew for additional years. • The provider must have a valid license in the state of Mississippi • The provider must have experience working with students with visual impairments • The provider must be able to provide direct and indirect services to students with disabilities • The provider must be able to work with the school district to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities • The provider must be able to provide progress reports and other documentation as required by the school district
