The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking bids for the replacement and installation of a 12'x12' steel rolling door with hoist motor at Station 13 in Stirling City. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to complete the work. The project requires a C61/D28-Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor license. The bid price shall include the cost of employer payments to or on behalf of employees, subsistence, travel, compensation insurance premiums, unemployment contributions, social security taxes, contract bond premiums, and any other taxes or assessments. • The contractor must have a valid, current C61/D28-Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). • The contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if their bid is $15,000.00 or more. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance providing proof of insurance to the Business Service Office (BSO) within ten (10) working days from the date of notification of award. • The contractor must comply with the State's General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the Prevailing Wage Rates.
