The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of a heater chiller system for the Oyster Hatchery and Research Center. The system includes drop-in water chillers, air-cooled reversible heat pumps, and commercial-duty heat/chill pump units. The equipment must be new, unused, and of current production, and must meet certain minimum performance and quality standards. The university reserves the right to determine equivalency. The system will be used in a marine and freshwater aquaculture research environment and must operate reliably in humid and corrosive coastal conditions.
