The Project consists of installing a fixed fire suppression system (“FFSS”) inside both the HCT and the QMT, along with performing structural repairs to the exhaust air ducts in both tunnels. At HCT, a FFSS prototype system including FFSS buildings, new water supply and electrical feeds, and the in-tunnel piping and valves between stations 18+80 to 46+50, of both the east and west tubes, was installed under previous Contract No. HC-07. Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work, which includes the installation of a fixed fire suppression system in two tunnels and structural repairs to the exhaust air ducts. The cost of such a project could range from $10 million to $50 million, considering the complexity of the work, the materials required, and the labor costs. The MTA's budget for the project is not specified, but the contract term is 48 months, which suggests a significant investment. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the cost of materials, labor costs, and the complexity of the project.
