The City of Steamboat Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified entities or individuals interested in operating a mobile ski and snowboard rental service at Howelsen Hill Ski Area for the 2025-2026 operating season. The selected concessionaire will be required to provide rental services for a minimum of two days per week on Saturdays and Sundays. The proposal should include the size and location of the rental operation, days and times of service, and percentage of gross revenue to the City. The City will select the proposal that best meets its needs based on factors such as experience, understanding of the required services, responsiveness to the RFP, cost, and alignment with existing operations. • The concessionaire will bring the inventory in and out during non-rental periods, with some limited storage available on-site. • The City requires the concessionaire to submit a monthly detailed remittance, itemizing sales and gross receipts for each month. • The concessionaire must comply with all federal, state, and local requirements related to the contract. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or irregularities in the proposals received.
