The Okeechobee County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide disaster debris removal and disposal services. The county will give preference to companies that can meet the accelerated debris removal timeframes outlined by FEMA. • The proposer must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a workforce to complete the debris removal and disposal operations. • The proposer must ensure sufficient hauling trucks and loading equipment are available at each storm event. • The proposer must comply with all state and local requirements to perform the work described in the bid. • The proposer must provide evidence of similar projects constructed within the past five years, client references, and an audited or certified financial statement if required.
