The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction is soliciting statements of qualifications for a Design-Build firm for the On-campus Student Housing project at Prairie View A&M University. The project consists of a four-level student housing facility with approximately 950 beds, including semi-suite doubles, singles, and Resident Assistant suites, as well as shared amenities such as community rooms, multipurpose rooms, and a wellness center. The Planning Amount for this project is $120,000,000, with an Amount Available for Construction Contract of $87,528,761. • The project includes a ground-level lobby and entry area with seating and shared amenities. • The facility will have a computer lab, print centers, community kitchens, laundry rooms, and a wellness center. • The Owner may select up to five top-ranked Qualifications respondents to respond to a Request for Proposals. • The second step of the process may include an interview, and the Owner will rank respondents based on the "best value" for the Owner.
