Description:
Texas Tech University is seeking a qualified Proposer to provide and install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The system must be a ground-mounted 200 kW system installed at The Global Laboratory for Energy Management and Manufacturing (GLEAMM) in the decommissioned Reese Air Force Base. The system should be able to withstand severe winds and hail, and the installation should be completed by the end of July 2025. Key requirements include: • Providing either Philadelphia Solar’s Mono-Crystalline N-type bifacial modules or an equivalent product approved by TTU • A minimum 30-year linear power warranty, 12-year workmanship and labor warranty, and a 25-year materials and equipment warranty • Compliance with industry standards, National Electric Code (NEC), and TTU Operating Policies and Procedures • A detailed installation plan, including site overview, array layout, mounting and racking details, and electrical transmission • Possession of a current Texas Electrical Contractor’s License The Proposer should submit a complete Proposal, including a signed Affirmation and Conflict of Interest, HUB Subcontracting Plan, and other required documents.
