The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works – Special Districts is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call snowplowing, snow removal, and storm cleanup services. The contract will be for a period of five years, and the contractor will be required to provide services as needed, with no guarantee of a minimum amount of work. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining and repairing roads, including snowplowing, road cindering, storm drain clearing, and other road-related maintenance services. The contractor must demonstrate experience and qualifications in providing similar services and must have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the work. • The contractor must be able to provide services on short notice, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment, including snowplows, sanders, and other equipment necessary for snow removal and storm cleanup. • The contractor must have a team of experienced personnel, including drivers, operators, and maintenance personnel. • The contractor must be able to provide services in a safe and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to traffic and the public.
