The project involves repairing approximately 130 miles of National Forest Roads in the Sierra National Forest, Madera County, California. The work includes grading the road, replacing culverts, replacing existing gates, and placing base rock to reconstruct drivable rolling dips. The contractor shall obtain any necessary licenses and permits and comply with federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations. The project is expected to start in March 2026 and be completed within 120 days. • The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals, inspection, quality control, and supplies necessary to complete the work. • The contractor shall restore drainage functions, including log, limb, and debris removal, blading and shaping of the roadbed, and cleaning drainage facilities. • The contractor shall cut all vegetative growth, including trees and other vegetation less than four inches in diameter. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection, labor standards, and safety.
