The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Design/Bid/Build General Contractor for the Restroom Renovations project at the SPSC building. The project involves converting existing men's and women's restrooms with showers into a gender-neutral restroom with four toilets and three single occupant shower rooms. The contractor will also be responsible for providing lockers outside of the shower rooms. The project has an estimated construction cost of $610,000. • The contractor must have a Colorado office and have completed at least three projects similar to this one in the last five years, with a minimum construction cost of $500,000 per project. • The contractor must have a bonding capacity of $1,000,000 and be able to meet the insurance requirements outlined in the attachment in Appendix B. • The contractor must demonstrate experience with similar projects, close owner/operation coordination, and quality management experience. • The contractor must comply with the State prevailing wage rate and the Buy Clean Colorado (BCCO) Act program requirements. • The contractor must submit a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid price.
