The West Bloomfield Township is seeking a contractor to upgrade the lighting system in the Township Hall building and surrounding parking lots. The project includes the installation of LED recessed downlight fixtures, rewire of existing fixtures, and replacement of incandescent lamps. The contractor will also be responsible for removing and disposing of existing lighting fixtures and recycling fluorescent lamps. The project is funded by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program and aims to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Key tasks include: • Furnish materials and labor for work to include the purchase and installation of 6" LED recessed downlight fixtures throughout the interior, replacing existing trims and lamps. • Rewire sockets in 48" acrylic wrap fixtures having 2 fluorescent lamps each. Purchase and install LED tubes Type B. • Rewire sockets in 2x4 lay in fixtures throughout the interior to receive Type B LED tubes. Purchase and install 4' LED tubes Type B. • Rewire sockets in 2-lamp strip fixtures located in soffits and mechanical areas to receive Type B LED tubes. Purchase and install LED tubes Type B. • Purchase and replace incandescent lamps in 3 chandeliers in Boardroom using scissor lift. • Recycle fluorescent lamps utilizing Easy Pak recycling programs. The contractor must provide a comprehensive on-site audit to verify and document the total quantity and type of all lighting fixtures within the Township Hall building. The contractor must also provide a warranty for the equipment and materials, as well as a labor warranty.
