Description:
The City of Englewood is seeking a contractor to provide underground utility locating services. The contractor will be responsible for locating underground utilities, including water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater, on an as-needed basis. The contractor will be required to comply with all laws and regulations of the State of Colorado and 811 OneCall Center in the performance of locating utilities. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Locating underground utilities, including water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater • Providing a customer portal for the City to view locate tickets • Having a dedicated local representative available to respond to City inquiries within 24 hours • Receiving transmittals directly from the one-call center for the contract service area • Updating their copy of City facility maps and distributing those updates to all field personnel within the first week of each month The City is looking for a contractor with experience in utility locating, a strong understanding of the project objectives, and the ability to perform duties as outlined in the RFP.
