This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure an 8 color, 10 station automatic press equal to or better than the Workhorse Sabre Model SAB810 and a Sabre Flashback curing unit to Maryland Correctional Enterprises. The contractor will provide turn-key installation, training, and a two-year warranty for the equipment. Key features of the automatic press include a touchscreen interface, electric print heads, and a chopper system. The contractor must also provide user manuals, parts catalogs, and other related materials. • The automatic press must have a power requirement of 1 Phase, 220V, 50-60Hz, 16 Amps, and air requirement of 100 PSI, 6 CFM. • The production capacity of the press should be 750 – 850 /hr. (60-70 dozen). • The overall diameter of the press should be 14’. • The press should have a touchscreen interface and a max print area of 20” x 20” (51x51CM) w/ every other Head 32x20” (81x51CM). • The curing unit should be Flash Back compatible, with a power requirement of 220V, 50-60HZ, 4,400 Watts, 20 Amp. • The contractor must deliver the equipment to Maryland Correctional Enterprises, Roxbury Correctional Institution, MCE RCI Graphics Shop, 18701 Roxbury Road, Hagerstown, MD 21746.
