Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D), seeks to engage services of a general engineering consultant to provide electric vehicle charging infrastructure planning, engineering and design services that will support the agency’s transition toward a zero-emission non-revenue vehicle fleet. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), acting by and through MTA Construction & Development Company (“MTA C&D”), in partnership with New York City Transit (“NYCT”), Metro North Railroad (“MNR”), and Long Island Rail Road (“LIRR”), seeks through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to engage a consultant (the “Consultant”) to provide preliminary design for electric vehicle charging infrastructure at thirty (30) priority sites. These planning, engineering and design services (the “Project”) will support the agency’s transition toward a zero-emission non-revenue vehicle fleet.
