The US Government Publishing Office is requesting quotations for the production of large entrance site signs for various locations in Texas and Louisiana. The contractor will be required to produce 5 aluminum signs with a trim size of 8' x 4' and print them in four-color process. The signs must be able to withstand outdoor elements for a minimum of 10 years. The contractor will receive Adobe Illustrator files containing the sign designs and must submit a press quality PDF soft proof for each item. The proofs will be evaluated for text flow, image position, and color breaks. The contractor must also provide a warranty for the signs for a period of 10 years from the date of final payment. • The signs must be made of 1/16" aluminum and have a clear, non-yellowing UV inhibitor applied to the entire printed surface. • The contractor must provide a container label and affix it to each shipping container. • The contractor must report any errors or damage to the furnished media and publishing files within 24 hours of receipt. • The contractor must make minor revisions to the electronic files if required by the Government. • The contractor must provide a copy of the furnished files and make all changes from the copy unless otherwise indicated.
