The County of Fresno is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide written translation services and telephonic interpretation services. Written translation services include but are not limited to: medical records; certified court documents; State and Federal forms and notices; brochures; and other requested written materials. Telephonic interpretation services include facilitating conversations between County staff and Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients involving a variety of subjects in a multitude of languages, including confidential client information. • Prevalent languages in Fresno County include Spanish, Hmong, Punjabi, Lao, Cambodian, Armenian, Vietnamese and Tagalog. • Bidders must demonstrate proficiency in these languages. • The County’s preference is to contract with one vendor to provide written translation services and one vendor to provide telephonic interpretation services. • The contract term for the selected vendor(s) shall be an initial term of three years, commencing July 1, 2025, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.
