The Curlew Job Corps Center has a need for basic health services provided by licensed medical professionals. This includes examinations and assessments, treatment, issuance of prescriptions and immunizations, monitoring health conditions, recommending hospitalization, follow-up care, and prevention planning and intervention. The contractor will provide medical services to students on center, in accordance with applicable Federal laws and regulations. Key personnel must have an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state where services will be provided, and must maintain licensing requirements and insurance coverage during the performance period. The contractor will be responsible for direct supervision of contractor personnel on the center and will coordinate with the Health and Wellness Director and/or Center Director. • The contract is for a base year with four one-year options. • The contractor must provide pricing for all items and proposed candidates, including all necessary licenses and insurance. • The evaluation criteria include technical capability, past performance, and price. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws and the Equal Protection principles of the U.S. Constitution. • The contractor must provide a qualified substitute when necessary. • The contractor must have experience working with disadvantaged young adults and must be able to provide care to the students.
