The City of Norfolk is seeking a Construction Management (CM) firm to provide services for the St. Paul's Blue/Greenway Park Project. The project involves the redevelopment of a former housing site into a stormwater management facility and park. The CM will work closely with the Department of Public Works and the project's design team to perform pre-construction and construction administration tasks. The scope of work includes construction management, project management, and inspection services. The City is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects and a strong team with the necessary qualifications and expertise. Some key aspects of the project include: • Extensive earthwork to create the stormwater channel and park features • Construction of wetlands along the banks of the channel • Installation of upstream drainage structures • Construction of multi-use trails and park-support buildings • Planting of trees, shrubs, and ground cover vegetation throughout the park The City has established an Economic Inclusion goal of achieving 12% Certified Minority Owned Business participation and 13.3% Certified Women Owned Business participation in the project.
