The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified Architect-Engineering (AE) firm to provide Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information for Project 528A5-24-509, Replace Primary Generator at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. The project involves replacing the primary generator and reconfiguring the electrical distribution system. The selected AE firm will be required to provide a complete design package, including drawings, specifications, and estimates. The firm will also be responsible for conducting site visits, reviewing construction submittals, and providing support during the construction period. • The project requires experience in design of inpatient medical care facilities, specialized electrical distribution and power generation equipment design for healthcare facilities, and extensive site and load survey skills. • The selected firm must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must meet the requirements of the Brooks Act and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). • The firm must also comply with the VA's design standards and guidelines, including the VA Master Construction Specifications and the VA National CAD Standard Application Guide. • The project has a magnitude of construction of $2,250,000 and a small business size standard of $25.5 million.
