The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for pest control services for both interior and exterior areas at the Dalhart Unit. The vendor will be responsible for providing monthly pest control services, emergency service calls, and quarterly and bi-annual pest control services for specific areas. The vendor must comply with TDCJ's policies, procedures, and safety requirements. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for up to three months at the sole discretion of the State. • The vendor must provide a Service Technician who is a Licensed Pesticide Applicator. • The vendor must use approved pesticides and follow the manufacturer's label instructions. • The vendor must provide emergency services to treat infested areas within 72 hours of notification. • The vendor must submit a report after each service, indicating the area serviced, method used, and pesticide applied. • The vendor must comply with TDCJ's safety requirements and reporting procedures. • The vendor must coordinate with the Central Risk Management Office to determine the amount of man-hours necessary to cover the facility.
