The US Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a contractor to provide HVAC duct cleaning services for the 6th floor of Building A. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning the HVAC ducts, including removal of lead particles and paper dust, and ensuring that the air supplied to the office space is free from harmful impurities. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in cleaning HVAC ducts containing lead dust and must be familiar with DC environmental regulations and the latest edition of the NADCA Standard for Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration of HVAC Systems. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest evaluated price of quotations meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, and equipment to complete the work. • The contractor must develop a site-specific Health and Safety Plan that addresses the protection of workers and the surrounding environment during cleaning. • The contractor must establish effective containment to prevent the spread of lead dust and take all reasonable steps to prevent debris and dust from entering occupied areas. • The contractor must provide photographic evidence of all cleaned ducts and submit documentation demonstrating contract compliance within 10 calendar days of cleaning completion.
