The Texas Military Department is seeking a contractor to provide scheduled maintenance on four emergency generators and four automatic transfer switches located at the ABIA Armed Forces Reserve Center in Austin, TX. The scope of work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, superintendence, insurance, incidentals, and services necessary to fully complete the work. The contract term is one year with three optional renewal periods. The contractor must have been in business for at least five years, have a 24-hour response phone number, and be an authorized Kohler and Cummins generator repair service provider. The contractor must also have a Texas-licensed electrician on staff to ensure compliance with current electrical codes and regulations. • The contractor must perform quarterly inspections on each generator, including visual inspections, cooling system checks, lube oil system checks, fuel system checks, and air induction and exhaust system checks. • The contractor must also perform annual services on each generator, including replacing fuel filters and performing scheduled oil samples. • The contractor must provide daily cleanup and keep a clean and safe work area at all times. • The contractor must ensure that all rules, laws, and regulations are followed when transporting and disposing of any items generated from the statement of work.
