The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide unmanned aerial services on a continuing as-needed basis for various departments countywide. The services will include topographic surveys, ecological assessments, infrastructure and construction inspections, damage assessments, and emergency management. The contractor will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal directives, orders, and laws applicable to this solicitation and subsequent agreement. Some key requirements include: * Compliance with Florida law prohibiting the use of drones manufactured in "foreign countries of concern" * Adherence to Pinellas County policies and ordinances regarding UAS operations * Maintenance of all proper certifications during the entirety of the contract * Ability to provide post-processing of field-collected data on BMPs for data compilation and quantification of maintenance issues * Ability to provide various products based on drone surveys, associated imagery, post-processing, and related technical analyses.
