The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to replace the roofs of various city buildings. The project includes replacing roofs at five locations: Rose G Price Park, R&R Village, West Campus Building I, Central Campus Building Y, and FSU Building C. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, and other necessary items for complete installation. The city estimates the total value of the project to be $641,000. • The minimum experience required as a licensed Roofing Contractor is five years for these projects. • The contractor shall provide all documents, plans, submittals, and NOA’s required to obtain a permit. • The contractor shall provide all testing, manufacturer warranties, and certifications. • The successful bidder shall employ a competent English-speaking superintendent who shall be in attendance at the project site during the progress of the work. • The contractor will be required to schedule all work with the City’s Project Manager. • The contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all debris and the restoration of any existing areas damaged by the contractor upon project completion.
