The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive water quality training courses to CDOT personnel, consultants, contractors, and the general public. The training courses will include Transportation Erosion Control Supervisor (TECS) Certification, Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) Design Certification, Control Measure (Best Management Practices) Selection, and other water quality-related classes. The contractor will be responsible for developing and refining course materials, proposing innovative instructional strategies, and delivering training sessions. The contractor will also provide personnel and support services for the maintenance and operation of the Tom Boyce Water Quality Training Facility. • The contractor must have at least five years of experience in delivering water quality-specific training and managing contracts of similar scope and size for public sector clients. • The contractor must demonstrate proficiency in developing department of transportation (DOT) related water quality training that aligns with CDOT's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. • The contractor must have experience in utilizing modern training technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS), webinar platforms, and virtual classrooms. • The contractor must demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze training data, including post-course evaluations and outcome metrics, and make ongoing improvements based on feedback.
