Description:
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), is seeking proposals to lease office space for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR). The leased space will house the Child Support Southern Regional Office of DOR, which provides services to parents who pay child support and parents and caretakers who receive child support. The office is expected to receive approximately 100 visitors per month. The proposed premises should be located in Bridgewater, East Taunton, Raynham, or Taunton, with easy access to Routes 495, 44, and 24. The premises should have approximately 8,500 square feet of usable area, with the possibility of leasing additional space. The lease term is expected to be 5 years, with a target occupancy date of February 2027. The proposal should include the lease rate, operating expenses, and taxes. The evaluation criteria will include the usable area and type of space, location, building conditions, and security systems. • The proposal should offer the amount of space in usable square feet. • The proposal must offer the type of space sought, which is office space. • The proposed location should have easy access to public transportation, shuttle, automobile, and on foot. • The proposal should include the proximity, accessibility, and availability of parking. • The proposal should include the characteristics of the surrounding neighborhood, including compatibility of adjacent uses with the Commonwealth’s proposed use. • The evaluation of proposals will consider whether the existing and proposed uses are compatible with the mission of the User Agency and the security, safety, and health of employees and visitors.
