The State of Iowa is seeking a qualified occupational health service provider to deliver comprehensive physical examinations and related testing and evaluation services for both prospective and current State employees subject to required medical monitoring. The selected provider will be responsible for ensuring that all officers are physically qualified to perform their duties. A well-trained and physically capable law enforcement workforce is essential to ensuring the safety and security of both residents and visitors to the State of Iowa. The contract term will be for one year with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year terms. • The Iowa Department of Public Safety (DPS) is the premiere law enforcement agency in the State of Iowa. • The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages fish and wildlife programs and ensures the health of Iowa’s forests and prairies. • The selected provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physical examinations and related testing and evaluation services. • The contract term will be for one year with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year terms. • The State reserves the right to award multiple agreements following this RFP.
