Description:
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking quotes for the removal and replacement of roofs on cabins 6 and 7 at Mills Norrie State Park in Staatsburg, NY. The project includes removing the existing roof, replacing it with new sheathing, tar paper, ice and water shield, asphalt shingles, and drip edge, and hauling away the old roofing materials. The work is expected to begin on or after 10/20/2025 and must be completed during normal business hours. The contractor must meet all applicable laws and building code requirements and provide proof of workers' compensation and disability benefits insurance. • Remove existing shingles • Remove existing sheathing • Add 5/8" plywood sheathing over the entire roof deck • Install ice and water shield and tar paper • Install new drip edge / match trim • Install new asphalt shingles with ridge cap • Shingle color: charcoal/black • Drip edge color: match trim • Includes haul-away of all old material • Area must be left clear of all debris • Work to begin on or after 10/20/2025 • Must meet all applicable laws and building code requirements • Fall protection and all safety regulations apply
