Description:
Brooklyn Bridge Park is seeking a qualified Owner's Representative for cost and project management on capital, facilities, and maritime construction projects. The selected consultant will act as a consultant, manager, and advocate for BBP, working to protect the park's interests while delivering projects on time and on budget. The primary focus will be the $20M gut renovation of BBP's headquarters at 334 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY. The consultant will also manage the park's maritime program and oversee various construction projects. Key responsibilities include: • Comprehensive project program scoping, budget development, and tracking • Reporting, coordination with regulatory agencies, procurement, and construction oversight • Managing design professionals, expediters, contractors, and subcontractors • Providing cost-effective design solutions and value-engineering alternatives • Ensuring compliance with regulations and permits • Overseeing construction close-out and project handover The ideal candidate will have experience working on energy-efficient "First Class" buildings, past experience with BBP or similar scopes of work for the City of New York, and the ability to provide cost-effective design solutions.
