The Cobb County Department of Transportation (CCDOT) is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) to provide Engineering Design Consultant Services for the Noonday Creek Trail Extension project. The project consists of a four-mile extension of an existing multi-use trail along Noonday Creek, from the existing Bells Ferry Trailhead to Shallowford Road. The selected firm will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering services, including design, permitting, and construction administration. The project will require the firm to work with CCDOT, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines. • Project scope: The project includes the design and construction of a 10-foot-wide multi-use trail with 2-foot unpaved shoulders, boardwalks, and other amenities. • Key services: The selected firm will provide engineering design services, including surveying, mapping, and permitting. • Deliverables: The firm will submit a Statement of Qualifications, a Technical Approach, and other documents as required by the RFQ. • Evaluation criteria: The Selection Committee will evaluate the SOQs based on the firm's experience, qualifications, resources, and workload capacity. • Contract type: The contract will be a multi-phase, project-specific contract with a lump sum, cost-plus fixed fee, or other compensation structure. • DBE participation: The project has a 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal.
