The City of Arcata is seeking a consultant to provide services for the Reconnecting Arcata Project, which aims to improve transportation, reduce economic barriers, and reconnect communities. The project is divided into phases, with the first phase (Community Readiness and Planning) focusing on community engagement, partnerships, and preliminary planning. The selected consultant will be required to comply with the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual and the Local Assistance Program Guidelines. • The project involves improving safe transportation and reducing economic barriers in Arcata. • The consultant will be required to undertake community engagement, partnerships, and preliminary planning. • The project is funded by the California Air Resources Board - California Climate Investment (CARB/CCI) via Caltrans. • The selected consultant will have the option to be awarded contracts for subsequent phases of the project. • The total amount payable to the selected consultant for the first phase shall not exceed $3,000,000.
