Budget Estimate (AI):

$50,000 – $60,000

The budget for this contract will depend on the amount of scrap metal removed and recycled, as well as the percentage of its value that the successful bidder agrees to pay the Town. Based on the fact that the Town disposed of 286.66 US Tons of scrap metal in 2024, and assuming an average price of $200 per ton for scrap metal, the total value of the scrap metal could be around $57,332 per year. If the successful bidder agrees to pay the Town 50% of the value of the scrap metal, the budget could be around $28,666 per year. Therefore, the estimated budget for the two-year contract could be between $50,000 and $60,000.
