Description:
The US Navy is seeking a contractor to provide CNC machine service, including troubleshooting and repair of Mazak-branded equipment. The contractor must be trained and certified by Mazak and have advanced proficiency in the mechanical functions and programming software of the equipment. The contractor will be required to provide quotations for programming services, detailed reports of parts needed, and a detailed report with findings and recommendations to bring the equipment back to full OEM operating ability. The contractor will also be required to perform unscheduled and emergency repair services as needed. • The contractor must have proficient knowledge of all mechanical and programming workings of the equipment. • The contractor must provide all equipment, tools, materials, and services necessary to perform the work. • The contractor must comply with all specific requirements of OSHA Safety and Health Standard (29CFR1910) and other safety and health requirements. • The contractor must adhere to Federal OSHA requirements for hazardous energy control. • The contractor must provide a detailed report of work performed and deliver all software and documentation to maintain the continuing working condition of the machine.
