Description:
The St. Charles County Government is seeking bids for a Siren Activation System. The system should be capable of activating sirens using Whelen Fast DTMF and American Signal FSK signaling, and have the capability of automatic activation using polygons from the NWS. The system should also have the capability of local activation, both county-wide and by activation areas. The bidder will provide all labor to install the system, interface the radio to the system, and test the system prior to acceptance. The installation cabling and equipment will be installed in such a way to make servicing and troubleshooting as efficient as possible. • The system must meet the minimum requirements specified in the bid document. • The system must be capable of activating sirens using Whelen Fast DTMF and American Signal FSK signaling. • The system must have the capability of automatic activation using polygons from the NWS. • The system must have the capability of local activation, both county-wide and by activation areas. • The bidder will provide all labor to install the system, interface the radio to the system, and test the system prior to acceptance.
