The City of Palmdale is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Sponsorship Sales & Management Agencies to provide consulting services for selling and managing sponsorships and naming rights related to City programs, events, and facilities. The ideal agency will demonstrate proven success in similar municipal settings and suggest a phased, data-driven approach aligned with Palmdale's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include conducting asset inventory, valuations, developing top-tier sponsor proposals, and providing a plan with significant return on investment (ROI) within three years of implementation. The selected contractor will be responsible for the full scope of services, including identifying opportunities, engaging partners, and ensuring long-term value and community alignment. • Conduct on-site interviews with City department heads and staff to identify and understand existing and potential sponsorship assets • Create a comprehensive marketing asset inventory and valuation report • Develop a strategic sponsorship plan, including business objectives, marketing priorities, and target sectors • Identify and pursue qualified corporate leads aligned with City branding and priorities • Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements, including naming rights contracts and trade/licensing deals • Coordinate sponsor activations and provide on-site support during major events • Develop post-contract tracking systems to ensure full benefit delivery and contract fulfillment
